Bohemian Magic Studios Presents Crafty Card Exchange | Opening My Cards! (The One With all the Sniffing)
Hello Magickal Beings! This past December, I hosted a Crafty Card Exchange in my Magickal Moon Collective Facebook Group! There were about 8 of us who participated in this exchange and it was TONS of fun!! The rules were simple, at least one item in the envelope had to be handcrafted, and they had to be sent out by December 15, the latest! I know this video seems way past due, however, I did not actually even receive all of my cards until January 5th! I had SO much fun opening these! My participants sent me some very fun and creative stuff including some teas, stickers, tree ornaments, zines, finger puppets, cat toys, scrapbooking ephemera, charm bags, and more! In today's video, I will be opening all of the crafty cards the exchange participants sent to me!.....and also a lot of sniffing things, hahaha! If there's one thing I can say, is that everyone's packages smelt SO GOOD - chock full of holiday spice! Also at the end of the video, I will give you a sneak peek of the cards I put together to send out to my participants! Thank you SO much to all who participated in this fun exchange! Here are the IG handles for anyone who shares the things they are creating!

Bohemian Magic Studios Presents How to Make Witches Black Salt | Protection Magick (Recipe & Uses)
DISCLAIMER - NOT FOR CONSUMPTION - MAGICKAL USE ONLY! Hello Dear Magickal Ones! In today’s video, I wanted to share a little recipe with you for some Black Salt! I created it as part of some Samhain packages I put together for my Patrons back in October. I know this video is a bit late, this was recorded prior to Samhain, but unfortunately I was super busy with other content all month and didn’t have time to edit this. I am, afterall, a one woman show! You can watch the video of me putting together these magically spooky packages HERE: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rkzOk... According to LearnReligions.com “In some folk magic traditions, black salt is used as a protective element. It can be blended up and sprinkled around your property to keep your home safe from intruders or troublemakers. It is traditionally used to drive away evil, and can even be sprinkled in the footprints of someone who is bothering you, to make them go away.” Read more about Black Salt it’s uses and magickal properites here: https://www.learnreligions.com/use-of... There is also a recipe for Black Salt on LearnReligions.com, but I thought I would create my own recipe and blend, using the base to start, which is just Sea Salt, and Charcoal. So here is my own special recipe, feel free to follow this one or try your own recipe or blend as well. I just used what I had on hand in my own kitchen pantry. What it really comes down to is the intent that you put into your salt blend, as you mix it together with your hands. How to Use Black Salt: - Sprinkle it around the perimeter of your property to absorb negative energy and keep bad people away - When an annoying or bad person leaves your house, sprinkle some black salt in their footsteps to keep them from returning again! - Dress a black candle in oil, roll in black salt, and use for banishing in protection spellwork - Sprinkle any object you believe to be cursed to absorb its negative energy and rid it of any evil attachments - Sprinkle in a circle around the base of your candle while performing candle magick or divination to protect it from negative spirits trying to come through AFTER USAGE: Discard used salt by throwing it into a fire or moving body of water. You can also bury it near a crossroads or a graveyard, or drive it far away and bury it away from your home. Black salt should never be reused. That is all! I hope you enjoyed this recipe, and hope you find it useful! Hello Viewers and Patrons Alike!! In today's video, I would like to share with you a little vlog I put together of the behind the scenes and making of the Mini Besoms and gift packages I sent out to my Patrons for Samhain. Strap in, this one's a long one! I know this video is a bit belated, uploading a Samhain vlog the second week of November!??! I know, I know, but hear me out. I was up to my forehead in content creation the whole month of October, I didn't have one more ounce of bandwidth left to edit this vlog! Right after sending these packages out, I jumped right into editing my Halloween Podcast, which you can view over here: HALLOWEEN PODCAST: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5iTco... Oh and just a heads up, there is one more Samhain video headed your way, where I show you the recipe for my very special Black Salt blend, which I have also included in the patron gift packages I put together in this video! The video for my Black Salt recipe should be coming your way early next week! - although I created it for Samhain, you may use this recipe all year round, for all of your banishing purposes! As I mentioned in this video - I was inspired to create some Black Salt by some very lovely witchies over at The Witch Bitch Amateur Hour Podcast. Please, if you live a witchy lifestyle, or even just starting out on your path, give these ladies a listen, you will die laughing :-). http://www.WitchBitchAmateurHour.com I also mention my dear from Seka, who told me about the podcast. This root has a human-like figure and is said to have a scream resembling a banshee, and can kill anyone with it if they aren't wearing proper ear protection! Although this herb/plant/root is an actual real life thing, some of its magickal properties are a bit more mythological (such as the scream), and attributed to pop-culture fiction - most notably The Harry Potter series. I just thought this one was too much fun NOT to include, so today I would love for you to join me and watch me paint our magickal Mandrake in watercolors, and then use that painting to design one of my Apothecary labels for Samhain! So grab your favorite cuppa, sit back and relax and enjoy the ethereal music from the Harry Potter movie soundtracks! JOIN ME ON PATREON ON MY $1 TIER TO GET THESE CUTE AND WITCHY LABEL PRINTABLES! Dyeing Eggs for Spring (Ostara Craft Project Tutorial) Hello Magickal Beings! Happy SPRING and Vernal Equinox to you all! Join me today, as I have a very fun craft project to share with you all, to celebrate OSTARA which is our Vernal Equinox sabbat on the wiccan/pagan wheel of the year! This is also just a very general spring project you can do to celebrate the season... you can also make these for Easter as well. They are actually great to leave up on your altar all season long, so no matter what you celebrate, they are seasonally appropriate either way! You can just change the text that you write on them. The materials and ingredients list for this project are minimal, so it's a great quick and easy project to do! That is because you need to let the eggs sit for a few hours, so you can literally set them up, and then go get some other stuff done! Ingredients and Tools: Hard Boiled Eggs 1 Stainless Steel bowl for each egg you'll be dyeing 3/4 cup Boiled Water for each bowl (or enough to cover the egg completely) 1 tsp of white vinegar for each bowl A few squirts of food coloring per bowl Use different colors and get creative with them! You can also use shaving cream or paper towels to get a tie dyed effect! Use pens or markers to decorate them, but just remember that if you do, you can't eat them and they are solely to be used as decoration! Also for more ideas for the season, I have done a book review on Llewellyn's Sabbat Essentials Ostara: Rituals, Recipes & Lore for the Spring Equinox, which you can view in this video here! Here is a small description about the book: " Celebrate the season of returning sunlight and the bursting forth of the birds, bees, and trees. Ostara - also known as the Spring Equinox - is a time of renewal, a time to plant seeds as the earth once again comes to life. This guide to the history and modern celebrations of Ostara shows you how to perform rituals and work magic to renew your power and passion for living and growing." Also here are some of the links that I talk about within the video! * I am not affiliated with Llewellyn Publishing or Amazon in any way. I'm simply just loving this book and relaying the information if you are interested! You can purchase this book on Amazon here for $11.69 Follow me on instagram for daily posts, updates, stories, polls, tarot insights, and more! Also be sure to Like, Comment, and Subscribe to my channel to get new magickal videos from me, delivered right to your inbox! :-) Are you planning on celebrating Ostara? Tell me how in the comments! Bohemian Magic Studios Presents Witchin' Kitchen Yuletide Sugar Scrub Ornaments Hello Magickal Beings! This video was intended for last year’s Yuletide season (2017), however, the holidays became a whirlwind, and I could not get around to editing this video. However, fret not! None of the footage I ever take is discarded or disregarded as scrap. I have instead decided to edit and repurpose it for THIS holiday season, because it's still an awesome idea. So I hope you enjoy these nonetheless, even if they’re a bit late ;-) Now without further adieu, here is a recipe/bath and body craft project I tried with some cute empty ball ornaments that I found at the dollar store (2 for $1). The recipe is pretty straight forward, it only uses a few basic ingredients that you can find in your home pantry, as well as some doTerra Essential Oils. In this video, I will be showing you how to make 2 different scrubs! Peppermint Scrub Ingredients: 1 cup of white granulated sugar 1 candy cane (crushed to a fine powder) 3-5 drops of doTERRA Peppermint Essential Oil Star Anise (crushed) 1 or 2 Whole Fresh Mint Leaves Red Organza Ribbon Cinnamon & Clove Orange Spice Scrub Ingredients: 1 Cup of Brown Sugar 1 Teaspoon of Cinnamon Sugar 3-5 Drops of doTERRA Cassia Oil 3-5 Drops of doTERRA Clove Oil Zest of 1 orange Crushed Clove and Hibiscus Flower Chopped Orange Rinds Gold Organza and Silk Ribbon Also be sure to include a small jar of extra virgin coconut oil along with your gift, so your recipient can have their own fun concocting their very own special sugar scrub themselves! I hope you are able to try this recipe for this Yuletide season, especially as gifts for your loved ones! I love making homemade Bath and Body products as gifts when I am on a budget! Have you tried this before!?! Do you do things differently? I’d love to know your experiences making these cute sugar scrub ornaments, in the comments below! Midsummer Solstice Vlog (Craft Project & Recipe Included for Litha!) Hello You Magickal Beings! I know, this video is a bit “after the fact”, but the past week or so since Litha has been INSANE! I’ve been working a lot, planning a wedding, and working on building my Instagram page, which has been pretty successful! I reached my first 1000 followers on there, and have even upped my subscriber count right here on my Youtube channel because of it, so I am super stoked and just want to thank you guys so much from the bottom of my heart, for all of your support! Now here is my Litha Vlog, so you can see what I was up to on this past June 21, 2017 – aka the Midsummer Solstice. In this video you’ll get to go for a little drive with me so I can tell you all about the wonderful plans I have for the rest of this day! You’ll also get to watch my cute little game of tag that I had with a butterfly! So in this Vlog, I reference various other videos and vlogs that I have released in the past month or so regarding Litha. I will link you guys to them here, as well as through the info cards in the actual video. In this video, I show you how to make a little Viking Boat with a craft project that I got from the book “Midsummer” by Llewellyn Sabbat Essentials. All you need are some popsicle sticks, the bottom of a wine cork, a stick, and a couple pieces of construction paper to make it. The origins of this project stems from the Vikings as well as some other cultures, who used to make midsummer pilgrimages to bodies of water. They would send off their hopes and dreams along with flower or candle offerings on these tiny boats, into the sunset. You can watch my complete tutorial in this video, and also my complete book review from where I got this idea HERE! I also make some midsummer solstice wine. I made the recipe up myself and the “Midsummer Solstice” wine that I used was from the winery at Alstede Farms, which I got when we went Strawberry picking for the Full Strawberry Moon. Watch that Vlog Here! Also come along with me on my own little pilgrimage to my local park so I can do my little Litha Ritual with the Viking Boat offering that I made myself! Thanks so much for watching! I hope you all had a very blessed Litha and Midsummer Solstice! Blessed Be! GET IN THE MIDSUMMER MOOD WITH MY LITHA SPOTIFY PLAYLIST! Llewellyn’s Sabbat Essentials Book Review (Litha) Hello Magickal Beings! Happy June and Midsummer Solstice to you all! Join me in my magickal garden today, as I have a very lovely book to share with you all, in preparation for LITHA which is our midsummer solstice sabbat on the wiccan/pagan wheel of the year! The magickal book that I am covering today is called Llewellyn’s Sabbat Essentials Midsummer: Rituals, Recipes & Lore for Litha. Here is a small description about the book: “A celebration of the sun, fire, and the bounty of the land. Midsummer – also known as the Summer Solstice or Litha – is a time to rejoice in abundance and light. This guide to the history and modern celebration of Midsummer shows you how to work with the energy of the longest day of the year.” In this video I will review the different sections and subjects that the book has to offer: Rituals, recipes, lore, spells, divination, crafts, correspondences, invocations, prayers, and meditations." I will also show you a beautiful diagram of the wheel and give you some context about its position on the wheel in relation to the other sabbats throughout the year. I will also distinguish for you, the difference of sabbats between the northern and southern hemispheres. We will then chat about some of the mystical lore behind the tradition, including the battle between the mighty Oak King and Holly King. One has to die for the other to rule for the other half of the year. Which will it be? Also, we will talk about the origins of the name Litha. It’s not as ancient of a name as we think! Perhaps it was made famous by a little epic hobbit trilogy? haha! Watch to find out! Also here are some of the links that I talk about within the video! * I am not affiliated with Llewellyn Publishing or Amazon in any way. I’m simply just loving this book and relaying the information if you are interested! You can purchase this book on Amazon here for $11.99!
