Bohemian Magic Studios Presents
Beltane Goddess (Art Timelapse)

HAPPY MAY DAY and Blessed Beltane everyone! I am actually traveling right now, but I wanted to do this quick video to celebrate the sabbat on the wheel of the year! Here we are celebrating the God & the Goddess, fire, and the fae! I drew this beautiful springtime goddess in my Witchy Bujo last year and didn't finish her, but I felt called to go back to her this year - and I think she came out BEAUTIFUL! Anyway, enjoy this artsy timelapse -

I am just using a crayola watercolor palette from CVS and my micron pens! Hahaha I like to keep my art supplies simple! Let me know if you have any questions in the comments below!

Dyeing Eggs for Spring (Ostara Craft Project Tutorial)

Bohemian Magic Studios Presents
Dyeing Eggs for Spring (Ostara Craft Project Tutorial)

Hello Magickal Beings!

Happy SPRING and Vernal Equinox to you all! Join me today, as I have a very fun craft project to share with you all, to celebrate OSTARA which is our Vernal Equinox sabbat on the wiccan/pagan wheel of the year! This is also just a very general spring project you can do to celebrate the season... you can also make these for Easter as well. They are actually great to leave up on your altar all season long, so no matter what you celebrate, they are seasonally appropriate either way! You can just change the text that you write on them.

The materials and ingredients list for this project are minimal, so it's a great quick and easy project to do! That is because you need to let the eggs sit for a few hours, so you can literally set them up, and then go get some other stuff done!

Ingredients and Tools:
Hard Boiled Eggs
1 Stainless Steel bowl for each egg you'll be dyeing
3/4 cup Boiled Water for each bowl (or enough to cover the egg completely)
1 tsp of white vinegar for each bowl
A few squirts of food coloring per bowl

Use different colors and get creative with them! You can also use shaving cream or paper towels to get a tie dyed effect! Use pens or markers to decorate them, but just remember that if you do, you can't eat them and they are solely to be used as decoration!

Also for more ideas for the season, I have done a book review on Llewellyn's Sabbat Essentials Ostara: Rituals, Recipes & Lore for the Spring Equinox, which you can view in this video here!

Here is a small description about the book:
" Celebrate the season of returning sunlight and the bursting forth of the birds, bees, and trees. Ostara - also known as the Spring Equinox - is a time of renewal, a time to plant seeds as the earth once again comes to life. This guide to the history and modern celebrations of Ostara shows you how to perform rituals and work magic to renew your power and passion for living and growing."

Also here are some of the links that I talk about within the video!
* I am not affiliated with Llewellyn Publishing or Amazon in any way. I'm simply just loving this book and relaying the information if you are interested!

You can purchase this book on Amazon here for $11.69

Follow me on instagram for daily posts, updates, stories, polls, tarot insights, and more!

Also be sure to Like, Comment, and Subscribe to my channel to get new magickal videos from me, delivered right to your inbox! :-)

Yuletide Sugar Scrub Ornaments

12/3/2018

Bohemian Magic Studios Presents Witchin' Kitchen
Yuletide Sugar Scrub Ornaments

Hello Magickal Beings! This video was intended for last year’s Yuletide season (2017), however, the holidays became a whirlwind, and I could not get around to editing this video. However, fret not! None of the footage I ever take is discarded or disregarded as scrap. I have instead decided to edit and repurpose it for THIS holiday season, because it's still an awesome idea. So I hope you enjoy these nonetheless, even if they’re a bit late ;-)

Now without further adieu, here is a recipe/bath and body craft project I tried with some cute empty ball ornaments that I found at the dollar store (2 for $1). The recipe is pretty straight forward, it only uses a few basic ingredients that you can find in your home pantry, as well as some doTerra Essential Oils. In this video, I will be showing you how to make 2 different scrubs!

Peppermint Scrub Ingredients:
1 cup of white granulated sugar
1 candy cane (crushed to a fine powder)
3-5 drops of doTERRA Peppermint Essential Oil
Star Anise (crushed)
1 or 2 Whole Fresh Mint Leaves
Red Organza Ribbon

Cinnamon & Clove Orange Spice Scrub Ingredients:
1 Cup of Brown Sugar
1 Teaspoon of Cinnamon Sugar
3-5 Drops of doTERRA Cassia Oil
3-5 Drops of doTERRA Clove Oil
Zest of 1 orange
Crushed Clove and Hibiscus Flower
Chopped Orange Rinds
Gold Organza and Silk Ribbon

Also be sure to include a small jar of extra virgin coconut oil along with your gift, so your recipient can have their own fun concocting their very own special sugar scrub themselves! I hope you are able to try this recipe for this Yuletide season, especially as gifts for your loved ones! I love making homemade Bath and Body products as gifts when I am on a budget! Have you tried this before!?! Do you do things differently?

I’d love to know your experiences making these cute sugar scrub ornaments, in the comments below!

LLEWELLYN’S SABBAT ESSENTIALS YULE BOOK REVIEW

12/15/2017

Bohemian Magic Studios Presents
Llewellyn’s Sabbat Essentials Book Review (YULE)

Hello Magickal Beings!

Happy December and Midwinter Solstice to you all! Join me in my cozy living room, as I have a very lovely book to share with you all, in preparation for YULE which is our midwinter solstice sabbat on the wiccan/pagan wheel of the year! The magickal book that I am covering today is called Llewellyn’s Sabbat Essentials Yule: Rituals, Recipes & Lore for the Winter Solstice.

Here is a small description about the book:

JOYFUL CELEBRATION OF THE SPARK WITHIN
“Yule – also known as the Winter Solstice – is celebrated when nighttime has reached its maximum length, and there is a promise of brighter days to come as candles are lit and feasts are enjoyed. This guide shows you how to perform rituals and work magic with the energy of rebirth and renewal that comes with the return of the light.”

In this video I will review the different sections and subjects that the book has to offer: Rituals, recipes, lore, spells, divination, crafts, correspondences, invocations, prayers, and meditations. I will also show you a beautiful diagram of the wheel and give you some context about its position on the wheel in relation to the other sabbats throughout the year. I will also distinguish for you, the difference of sabbats between the northern and southern hemispheres. We will then chat about some of the mystical lore behind the tradition, including the battle between the mighty Oak King and Holly King. One has to die for the other to rule for the other half of the year. Which will it be?

Also, we will talk about the origins of the Yule Log, Animal Totems and Folk Tales, The Great Tree Debate: Should you get a fake or real tree?, Ice/Water Magic, how to make a portable spell kit, and MORE!!

LITHA MIDSUMMER SOLSTICE VLOG (CRAFT PROJECT & RECIPE INCLUDED!)

Bohemian Magic Studios Presents
Midsummer Solstice Vlog (Craft Project & Recipe Included for Litha!)

Hello You Magickal Beings!
I know, this video is a bit “after the fact”, but the past week or so since Litha has been INSANE! I’ve been working a lot, planning a wedding, and working on building my Instagram page, which has been pretty successful! I reached my first 1000 followers on there, and have even upped my subscriber count right here on my Youtube channel because of it, so I am super stoked and just want to thank you guys so much from the bottom of my heart, for all of your support!

Now here is my Litha Vlog, so you can see what I was up to on this past June 21, 2017 – aka the Midsummer Solstice. In this video you’ll get to go for a little drive with me so I can tell you all about the wonderful plans I have for the rest of this day! You’ll also get to watch my cute little game of tag that I had with a butterfly!

So in this Vlog, I reference various other videos and vlogs that I have released in the past month or so regarding Litha. I will link you guys to them here, as well as through the info cards in the actual video.
In this video, I show you how to make a little Viking Boat with a craft project that I got from the book “Midsummer” by Llewellyn Sabbat Essentials. All you need are some popsicle sticks, the bottom of a wine cork, a stick, and a couple pieces of construction paper to make it. The origins of this project stems from the Vikings as well as some other cultures, who used to make midsummer pilgrimages to bodies of water. They would send off their hopes and dreams along with flower or candle offerings on these tiny boats, into the sunset.

You can watch my complete tutorial in this video, and also my complete book review from where I got this idea HERE!

I also make some midsummer solstice wine. I made the recipe up myself and the “Midsummer Solstice” wine that I used was from the winery at Alstede Farms, which I got when we went Strawberry picking for the Full Strawberry Moon. Watch that Vlog Here!

Also come along with me on my own little pilgrimage to my local park so I can do my little Litha Ritual with the Viking Boat offering that I made myself!

Thanks so much for watching! I hope you all had a very blessed Litha and Midsummer Solstice!

Blessed Be!

SALT DOUGH SUN CRAFT PROJECT (FOR LITHA)

Salt Dough Sun Craft Project (For Litha) Part 1&2

LIKE MY VIDEOS? PLEASE SUBSCRIBE TO MY YOUTUBE CHANNEL!

Hello My Magickal Beings!!
I wanted to share a very magickal craft project with you all today because we are right in time for LITHA, aka the Midsummer Solstice!!

Litha is the longest day of the year when the solar energies are at their most heightened state. The power of nature is strong, everything is in bloom and flourishing and ripening on their vines to prepare for Lammas (harvesting festival)!

In this video, I thought it would be fun to celebrate the solstice by honoring the sun with this cute little salt dough sun craft project for Litha, which is one of the projects pinned in my pinterest board for Litha!

View my whole Litha Pinterest board HERE!

I am using the Salt Dough recipe from the Ozark Pagain Mamma!

It’s a very simple recipe with only 3 ingredients:
Salt, Flour & Water! You’ll also need some small bowls to use as stencils to cut our your circle shapes. You can get curly handle utensils, just like the one I used to make the sun’s rays here!
Also if you would like to get in the spirit for Litha, here is a super informative book that has some amazing rituals, recipes, lore, spells, divination, crafts, correspondences, invocations, prayers and meditations. It’s called Llewellyn’s Sabbat Esstentials: Midsummer Rituals, Recipes, & Lore for Litha! I did a complete review on this book which you can watch HERE!

So after your sun plaque and ornaments are baked, you can paint them! Please watch part 2 of this video above,  to join me as we paint and glitter our suns for Litha! For the painting of the sun, here are the following supplies that I used:

All of the paints that I used are from Liquitex:
Cadmium Yellow Medium (Base Color on Body)
Cadmium Red Light (Shading Wash on Base /Around Face/in Swirls)
Also Cad Red Light on Cheeks
Burnt Umber Deeper Shade in Crevices Throughout
Ultramarine Blue (Green Shade) for Eye Pupils
White Paint for eye sockets

I mentioned Acra Crimson in the video, but I actually only ended up using that color for the ornaments, and not on the sun plaque.

I also used fine pink glitter and the ribbons and glitter pens, I just bought from the dollar store!

Bohemian Magic Studios Presents
My Altar Tour for Litha

Hello You Magickal Beings!!

I know I’m a few days late on this, but I still wanted to upload it because I spent a lot of time filming and editing it! Also, my actual day of Litha, which was June 21 for us in the Northern Hemisphere, was INSANE! It was action packed… I spent the weeks leading up to in, in preparation for it, and then the actual day of, I worked all day, and then got home at 4 pm only to prep more for it, lol. So I didn’t have as much time all month than I would have liked, to produce all the videos I had originally wanted to for it.

I also had some other recipes I wanted to do, and I even did do another craft and quick solstice wine recipe that will be in my next video that I’ll be posting in the next day or so. That will be my Litha vlog, which will contain all of the fun things I did ON the midsummer solstice this year.

Anyway, this video is better late than never! Also I’d like to cite a few of the references and things that you see IN This video so that I can better inform you about where I obtained them, or learned the information that I am supplying you with!

*The glittery sun plaque displayed on my altar is a homemade craft project that I made out of salt dough, and then painted with acrylic paints and glitter. I did a 2 part video series on these which you can find here…

Part 1 (Baking)
Part 2 (Painting)

*The Oracle cards used on my altar are from the Chakra Oracle deck by Tori Hartman, which can be purchased here

(NOT an affiliate link)
*The small anise candle in front of the sun plaque was gifted to me by my dear friend Dena Miller from the Youtube Channel @MiladyLeela

*The Viking Boat craft project and crystal/herb/flower correspondences came from Llewellyn’s Sabbat Essentials MIDSUMMER book which I did a review on, you can view that here!

Music is “The Poisoned Princess” by Media Right Productions from the Youtube Creator’s Library.
