How to Sew an Olson Mask (Tutorial + Wear n' Care Tips)

Hello Magickal Beings! 

I hope you are all doing well and staying safe out there! I thought I would make this instructional video for you guys because I thought it would be really helpful to you all right now. It is now recommended to wear a mask 😷 in public, no matter where you are going... but it is equally important that we aren’t digging into the medical supply which should be reserved for our healthcare workers dealing directly with these Covid-19 cases right now. So here is my video on how to sew an Olson mask complete with a sewing tutorial as well as some wear n care tips and tricks. 

With that being said, now is the time to get a little crafty and make your own mask, which should be effective enough for a quick grocery run, or to wear at work if you are required to report for duty. Whatever the case, this is a super east and affordable way to make your own mask, complete with a disposable filter pocket.

In this video, I will take you step by step in how to create this mask design from start to finish. You are looking for a material that can filter 99.97% of all 0.3 micron particles (similar to the N95 masks that should be left for hospital workers to use). HEPA filtration vacuum bags are a great source to make your own filter.
